Toyo Koatsu Co. Ltd. (currently Mitsui Chemicals, Inc. Japan) and United Catalysts Inc. (currently Süd-Chemie Inc. USA) jointly established Catalysts and Chemicals Inc. Far East (CCIFE).

Nissan Chemetron Catalysts Ltd. changed it's name to Nissan Girdler Catalysts Co. Ltd. as a results of Süd-Chemie AG (Germany)'s acquisition of all the shares held by Chemetron Corporation.

Catalyst and Chemicals Inc. Far East (CCFE) and PT. Pupuk Kujang (Indonesia) jointly established a venture company named PT. Kujang United Catalysts (KUC) in Indonesia.
